| BLENDED LEARNING PROJECT OF THE YEAR |
Award Sponsored by
This Award is presented to an enterprise that has carried out a Blended Learning project that demonstrates high quality and innovation - in terms of both content and instructional techniques - and that made demonstrable performance improvement for the client. In particular, the judges will be seeking clear differentiators from other entrants to the Award, evidence of innovation and client endorsement, and a strong proposition in response to the challenge "what was your contribution and value add to the success of the project?"

You are requested to structure your submission in a way that covers the sections below; each section will be assessed by the judges during the short-listing phase and you will receive the judges' assessments for each section. There is a maximum of 3,000 words per submission - you are warned that only the first 3,000 words of your submission will be read.

- Project Definition - consider the following points within your submission: how comprehensively was the project defined by the client?; who (client or supplier) defined that this should be a Blended Learning implementation - and why?; what role did you, as the supplier, have in the definition of the project?; what was the process for ensuring that what you were providing was what the client wanted?; what was the extent of change control within the project?
- Project Planning & Risk Management - ensure that, within this section, you set out your overall approach to project management, contingency planning and risk management with particular emphasis on management review as well as client involvement, acceptance and endorsement.
- Project Initiation & Development - describe the development process, timescales, resources, and budgetary considerations; what was the experience in terms of timeliness and cost effectiveness of the development programme? How was the learning quality assured? What was included for measurement and evaluation?
- Project Introduction & Follow-up - what was the process for and experience of: project review and acceptance; user readiness;
programme introduction; post course follow-up; initial user experience?; What issues arose and how were they handled?
- Client Support - what was committed in terms of post implementation client support, how was it delivered, and what was the client's experience of the support you provided?
- Post Project Review - what process did you follow at the end of the project and what were the key lessons that were learnt?
- Client Engagement - what was your client engagement model and how satisfied was the client with its effectiveness?
- Impact & Contribution - what evidence do you have that the project made a positive impact on the client's operation and what contribution did it make to the client's overall performance?
- Achievements - what do you consider to be your core achievements on this project and why do you believe that this submission should be the Blended Learning Project of the Year?
- Additional Comments - (NB this section is optional and although it will not assessed as part of the feedback process, it will be considered as part of your submission). In this section please add any additional points that you feel the judges should consider in evaluating your submission. In particular, consider ways in which you can demonstrate the quality of the programme to the judges.
