Award Sponsored by
This Award is presented to an employed individual who has shown exceptional instructional, assessment, development, and needs analysis skills for their employers. In particular, the judges will be seeking clear differentiators from other entrants to the Award, evidence of innovation and client endorsement, being a 'well-rounded' individual, and having a strong proposition in response to the challenge "what was special about your performance this year?"

- Professional Development - what approach have you taken in the last twelve months to develop your skills - both in terms of content and training skills - and to what extent have you determined and developed your own skills needs? What have you achieved in terms of growth in employability?
- Confidence & Professionalism - how have you developed your approach to professionalism, ethics, and contribution to the industry and what have you done to develop your own self-confidence?
- Participation & Group Dynamics - what are your major achievements relating to your peers, the organisation, and the industry in general?
- Delivering a strong Learning Experience - what evidence can you provide that you have delivered a sound learning experience to learners over the last twelve months?
- Achievements - what do you consider to be your core achievements in this last twelve months and why do you believe that your submission should be the Trainer of the Year?
- Additional Comments - (NB this section is optional and although it will not assessed as part of the feedback process, it will be considered as part of your submission). In this section please add any additional points that you feel the judges should consider in evaluating your submission.
- Presentation - note that the short-listed entrants will be required to give a 20-minute presentation on a subject provided in advance by the judging panel. All short-listed entrants will be given the same subject to deliver to the judges.
