Judging
Celebrating quality, excellence and best practice

The IT Training Awards are judged by an independent panel of judges. Each of the categories is judged by a different panel of expert judges.

We believe that the best way that an entrant can do justice to their submission is to have the opportunity to make a formal presentation to the judges and be able to answer any questions the judges may have.

Therefore, each shortlisted entrant will receive the opportunity to give a 30 minute presentation at Westwood House. An additional 15 minutes are allowed after the presentation for questions and answers.

What is the judging process?

All completed entries will be assessed by an independent panel of judges under the chairmanship of Professor Peter Ford, Vice Chancellor, University of Nottingham. Professor Ford is also a non-Executive Director of the Institute of IT Training. The panel will then prepare a shortlist for each award.

Each short listed entrant will receive written confirmation, by the 16th November 2007, of their time slot for presenting to the judging panel.  The judging is kept to strict timescales and it is asked of each entrant that they ensure they arrive on time and that their presentation does not run over.  If late, this may result in the company being withdrawn from the Awards.  Guidelines will be sent out in advance of the judging.

The venue for judging is Westwood House, Coventry.  Maps will be sent with your confirmation.  For more information please feel free to contact Nicki Kettle on 0845 006 8858.

The judges will make gold, silver and bronze awards (where applicable) in each of the categories.

The judges reserve the right to withhold any awards where the entries do not achieve an appropriate standard.

Feedback?

Upon request, the judging panel will provide feedback on every entry.
